I was born in London, spent my 30’s in South Africa before moving to Sussex then to Dorset where I have lived for over 30 years.
My work is inspired by the landscape, sea, sky and light, using imaginative colours and shapes, and an eclectic mix of mediums.
I have had exhibitions in Arundel, Worthing, Chelsea, Bridport, Poundbury, Sturminster Newton, Lyme Regis and Sherborne.
I have worked as a Caricaturist and I’m a published Cartoonist. I have also worked on a number of book illustrations and my cartoons were shown as part of The Hogarth Bicentennial Exhibition at South Bank, London, The Ayr Cartoon Festival in Scotland and featured in the Toyota Round the World Yacht Race Magazine. My topical political works have been published in The Cartoonist, Punch and The Purbeck Magazine.
I now work in my Studio in my garden and nowadays concentrate mostly on semi-abstract evocations of the ancient Dorset landscape that surrounds me plus occasional commissions
for special occasion Caricature cards.
Open Studio and tea in the garden at 9 Mill Street, Puddletown on Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th July.
