Linda Carroll was born in Leeds. She has a long association with Dorset since attending college in Weymouth when training to teach. She has a B.A. in the Arts and an M. A. in Psychology.
Linda was a founder member of the College of Storytellers in the 1980s, introducing the art of storytelling into a western culture where it was not as common as in the east.
Her work is an imaginative response to natural subjects and local village life.
Linda works mainly in oils on canvas, board and paper.
She has exhibited work in many local venues as well as Stourhead. She has also undertaken numerous commissions for private individual works.
Linda reproduces some of her images as art cards and art to canvas prints.
